The Children's Clinic and General Practice located in the Cayman Islands is a top-tier healthcare provider that offers exceptional preventive and acute care services to infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
Dr. Gordon Smith moved to Grand Cayman in 1992 and founded his Pediatric (Paediatric) practice to provide exceptional healthcare services to children. In 2001, a purpose-built facility was constructed to accommodate Dr. Smith’s growing Pediatric (Paediatric) practice. In 2010, the practice expanded and became the first multi-doctor children’s clinic in the Cayman Islands.
Today, the clinic caters to patients of all ages and our doctors work tirelessly to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care.
Dr. Smith encourages a long-term doctor/patient relationship between the family and their pediatrician (paediatrician), who is often the primary care doctor. This relationship helps build trust and ensures that the healthcare needs of the children are effectively managed.
The clinic is within walking distance of the main George Town Hospital and a two-minute car ride to Doctors Hospital (formerly Chrissie Tomlinson Hospital). This strategic location allows doctors to attend emergencies/deliveries at any hospital quickly, and ensure their patients receive timely and effective medical care.
