Dr. Christine Zamastil
Dr. Christine Zamastil was raised in the United States near Chicago, IL. She completed her undergraduate work in Biology at Illinois Wesleyan University. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. From there she moved to Chicago and began her medical school training at Rush University.
After receiving her medical doctorate from Rush in 2008, Dr Zamastil moved to Columbus, Ohio to begin her post-graduate training in pediatrics. Subsequently, she completed a residency in pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2011 and then finished a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases in 2014.
Upon completion of this training, Dr. Zamastil stayed in Columbus to work at an inner-city pediatric clinic serving underprivileged children. Looking for a change in pace and weather, she moved with her husband to Grand Cayman in November 2015, joining the Children’s Clinic team upon arrival.
In her spare time, Dr. Zamastil enjoys spending time with her husband, diving, running, and baking tasty treats.
